YouTube Red users can save songs for offline listening. For a limited time in YouTube Music, which was only achievable through mixtape feature, i.e. songs are automatically populated based upon your listening history. Technically it worked as well, but the users didn’t have additional control over what they going to listen to. Now users can choose their specific songs, albums and playlist for offline listening.

Save YouTube Videos as Audio only

To save music for offline listening, tap on the Menu icon, (Three Dots), next to any song, playlist, or album, and select Save Offline. A pop-up will then appear (Same as the YouTube Offline Video), asking to save just the audio, SD video or HD Video (As Applicable). On iOS devices, swipe left on a song in a playlist and then select Offline.

To access your offline music, tap on your profile and Select Offline.

Although, Offline Mixtape was best suited for most of the users, YouTube Red subscribers now have full control on what they listen to offline in YouTube Music.

Social media changes our life drastically. In February 4, 2004, Facebook took the world by storm with over 2 billion monthly active users and a revenue of 27.46 billion USD (2016).  Today Facebook become the most popular site for interacting with anybody irrelevant to the distance or time. Also Facebook is now offering you the unique features of Online games, Video chatting, Image editing tools and much more.

Many people are claiming that Facebook are stealing their information from it’s Facebook and messenger app. Do you know the apps you use on your Facebook are the actual culprit. And did anyone of us pay attention to one single page where the apps ask for certain permissions. Probably no, because we are too busy in click next button. But yes, it is same like using on Android or iPhone and many of us didn’t notice it at all.

While using any app on these social media, you asked to install the app and then it shows you a window such as below.

Yes, right. The application is asking for permissions, but now you ask where. Click the edit info and link and it will show you the permissions that are set to allow by default such as below.

You got the idea now. Basically these apps are having access to all of your private information, shared by you. You know why these apps are set to access the data by default, because the data fetch by these apps are sell to companies such as Google, Microsoft and United States Government. Its obvious, when you are using any product for free, you become The Product. And you are allowing them to steal your precious information right below your nose for many years.

Well now you are probably thinking how to stop these apps?

The first thing you can do is stop using such apps on Facebook. But thats hard right because we become so much addicted to Facebook and it’s online test which are not limited to personality test, how big your friend circle is, how cool you look and the list goes on.

So what you can do, the best thing you can do is deny the permissions to app. But yes certain apps are hard wired to collect certain information such as your profile info and your email address. The rest of these permissions are deniable.

So how you will protect yourself ? It’s simple

  1. Just while installing the app look for the permission window
  2. Click edit info link.
  3. It will show you the permissions the apps are asking and just uncheck the ones you don’t want.
  4. You can just simply uninstall the app right after you use it.
  5. From go to settings ——> Apps and press the cross, just right to the app.

So the next time you like to use any certain app on Facebook, Beware of your privacy exploitation.

Don’t you like the company who sticks to its word till the end. In 2013, OnePlus offered a device with high end performance like any flagship phone but with very affordable price under its hood. With also giving a promise of “NEVER SETTLE”, OnePlus become the most loving brand the world, earning the title “Flagship Killer”. With the success of OnePlus 3T, the Chinese startup unveiled its latest handset – OnePlus 5.  Unlike its predecessor OnePlus 5 ships with a new slick design and uniquely designed hardware features.  In short while holding the OnePlus 5, you can feel the power packed inside the sleek and sturdy build but this time OnePlus lost the underdog charm every predecessor enjoyed.

Design

While looking at OnePlus 5, getting confused it with an iPhone 7 Plus is obvious.

That is disappointing for the buyers as OnePlus ditched its stylish T-shaped antenna bands and square camera and its place OnePlus 5 shared a very similar design with iPhone 7 plus. We would have grateful to see OnePlus designers showcase their creativity and try something different and original.

Still the rounded corners and the subtle curve at the back makes us feels great while holding the anodized aluminum device in hands. OnePlus 5 equipped with a very unique feature – It’s Alert Slider, a physical switch on the side of the phone that enables the users to toggle between Silent, Priority and all Notifications without even touching the screen. But still there is one minor spot i.e. the Volume rocker which is not that enjoyable to use.

Display

OnePlus 5 featured an awesome 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a pin-sharp 401 pixel-per-inch, that makes everything you throw to be show in a luscious detail. But that’s not all, it also has a number of calibration options, including sRGB and DCI-P3. Also, an in-built Reading Mode that renders the display in greyscale and also highlights the text to create a Kindle-like environment on reading apps and web browsers.

That’s a very amazing app for those who likes to read on the go. With this add-on, we can say OnePlus 5 is one of its kind, it can’t replace your Kindle but the reading experience is truly amazing. This mode can also be toggled on/off from the settings menu manually or you can program it to activate on selected apps automatically.

But That’s not all OnePlus 5 also incorporates the f.lux like functionality which monitors the location and adjust the brightness and color temperature accordingly.

Performance

We have talk about the looks. But OnePlus 5 isn’t about just looks, It’s about the power.

OnePlus 5 is Powered by the latest SnapDragon 835, which is backed by 8GB RAM. This Maybe be sound fancy as it’s double of the latest of the Samsung flagship but OnePlus always about the performance. Yes, it is the most fastest phone yet.

What is the use of a high-performance device without a good storage?

Don’t worry guys OnePlus 5 is available with either 64GB or 128GB in-built storage, this is amazing, isn’t it? Also, OnePlus has already switched to UFS 2.1 from the traditional eMMC, which improves the load times drastically as UFS is able to perform read and write tasks simultaneously.  The best part is OnePlus 5 runs on the OxygenOS – based on latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat with some of the tweaks of its own which also includes the Reading Mode.

OxygenOS grants the ability to installs custom icon sets and re-order shortcuts within the Quick Settings dropdown menu. Also, you can resize the Home screen icons upon your preferences.

Talking about preferences, yes OnePlus knows about your concern for Privacy, that’s why OnePlus introduce a folder specially designed to store documents, pictures and videos privately similar to Samsung Private Mode. This folder included in File Manager app, can be securely locked down with a fingerprint or six-digit PIN code.

With OnePlus 5, On-screen gestures makes a comeback. Now etching out a large S, W or M on the display to launch a specific application or system functionality never seemed that particularity intuitive. Also, a most useful addition in OxygenOS is App Priority, which loads your all-time favorite apps in the background and also makes sure that they are up-to-date and available on-demand.

Well, that’s just OxygenOS better than ever.

Battery

What’s good of a smartphone if the battery is not that good to back it up.

No need to worry, even the capacity has reduced compared to its predecessor. The battery life is better than before. With 3300 mAH battery, even with all day and night long operation, OnePlus 5 can perform more than expectations without breaking a sweat.

And even battery does run out of juice, the Dash charger backs it up and provided the days of power in just half an hour.

Camera

The first thing anybody noticed about OnePlus 5 is the new dual camera set-up. This is become very popular around all leading smartphone brands, likewise of Samsung, Apple, Huawei and LG doubling up the rear shooters. Now OnePlus also joined the club, incorporating a 16 megapixel Sony IMX 398 with a 20-megapixel custom telephoto lens. Enables OnePlus 5 to perform two-times lossless zoom, which dramatically improves the picture quality.

Now you can take snaps anywhere without worrying about the picture quality, OnePlus 5 ability to zoom without reducing the picture quality to a grainy mosaic of pixels is very awesome feature, you will fall in love to. Well every masterpiece sometimes has left with a fault or two, the shortcut to shift between 1x and 2x zoom, as well as the on-screen dial for granular adjustment are shamelessly taken from the iPhone 7 Plus camera app. Also, OnePlus featured its own version of Portrait mode similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus.

Dubbed Depth Effect feature will intelligently blur the background behind a subject in bokeh-style effect, resulted into when a photograph, taken from a DSLR camera.

Cool Isn’t it.

But this is not the same every time, even though Apple also struggling to patch things up.

OnePlus 5 previews the Depth Effect in real-time within the camera, similar to iPhone 7 Plus, so you can indicate how the photograph going to turn out even before you hit the shutter button.

With the excellent accuracy in delineate the subject from the background, photographs result into a jaw-dropping effect.

Not only photographs But OnePlus 5 is able to capture video in 4K Ultra HD resolution, so you don’t need to worry about your family home movies.

On the front, OnePlus 5 feature a 16MP camera for high-resolution selfies and video chats, an excellent feature for all the selfie lovers isn’t it. Also, a new PRO Mode is added to the stock camera app exposes granular controls for the ISO, shutter speed, white balance and exposure. Also offering staggering amount of control that should like by photography lovers.

OnePlus also includes a useful reference line in the center of the display, to line-up shots with accurate precision.

That’s not all, OnePlus 5 also supports RAW image export, makes post-shot edits easy.

Price

Over the last three years, OnePlus has earned the title of “Flagship Killer”, thanks to its unrivalled combination of premium hardware, specs and a price that rivals to that of the latest smartphones from Samsung and Apple at an unbelievably price tag.

This time OnePlus 5 seems to distanced itself from the price tags one shared its predecessor enjoyed. Joining the Mid-Range League.

OnePlus 5 ships with two variants where the entry level model (Slate Grey) with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM is available at $ 649 ( 32,999) and top-end model (Midnight Black) with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM is available at $ 719 (  37,999).

Final Verdict

Without hesitation, OnePlus 5 is an amazing smartphone.

This phone gets all, the power, a brilliant dual-camera, amazing battery life and a lightning fast charging system.

The near to stock UI experience covers the downfalls of the HUWAEI’s EMUI and Samsung’s Touch Wiz. But yet it’s very disappointing that the looks and some features are identically similar to iPhone 7 Plus.

Even the smartphone is out of our expectations level, yet it’s way too expensive than any of its processor.

OnePlus was once used to know as “Flagship Killer” but OnePlus 5 closely shares a price tag with those, it tries to overhaul.

That represents a very different proposition from the OnePlus Predecessors.

In recent months Gmail users have been targeted by a  series of phishing attacks, that use emails from the known contact or some one from the address book of the user whose account has been compromised.

The skeptical attack displays Gmail official address “accounts.gmail.com” in the browser’s location bar. This leads users to what appears to be a legitimate Google Sign-in page, where users are prompted to enter their credentials, which then supplied to hackers, hence compromised.

The technique is so well designed that many experienced technical users have fallen prey to this scam. Users shared this warning on social media platforms to alert their loved ones, stated that this techniques exploits the trusted contacts very easily.

What Is Google doing?

Google has been aware of the issue since mid-January and Google was continuing to strengthen its defences. Also it was using machine learning-based detection of phishing messages, safe browsing warnings of dangerous links in emails, and taking steps to prevent suspicious sign-ins.

Two-factor authentication can be used to protect the User accounts, Aaron Stein Wordfence suggested. Google Chrome released 56.0.2924, which changes the behaviour of the browser’s location bar. The change results in the display of not secure messages when users see a data URL.

Google using Security Key enforcement as additional steps to protect G Suite customers against phishing. This techniques allows administrators to protect their employees using only security keys as the second factor. Bluetooth low energy Security Key support is also another user option, works on Android and iOS mobile devices.

The Reality

The latest changes in Chrome and Firefox reflects some of these types of attacks. However, a variety of techniques are used to target users. These attackers create extremely realistic landing pages, using javascript to obfuscate and encrypt pages and contents, ad host documents directly on Google drive. Recently attackers used PDFs to make it appear that users are already logged onto Google Docs, then it prompted for user login when they hover their mouse over the PDF.

Attacks of these types are such of a cat-and-mouse game in such a manner the attackers will find more complex entry points as cyber security improves over time. This reflects the directly proportional relationship between cyber criminals and cyber security. As they become more organised and better funded, the resource pooled up into a lot used for further exploiting the security holes into the security programs and tweaking attack methods to become more effective.

Difficult Defence

These attacks like phishing and social engineering are the most common gateways of entry. Such attacks like these often privileged users with access to sensitive data. Also security companies are aware of this, providing security measures to these types of users without limiting their ability to do their jobs effectively and efficiently is very difficult.

Despite with all the challenges it possess, like normal phishing scam, it has a limited lifespan because it impacts a specific audience. Google likely will launch image recognition and URL filtering to prevent such kind of campaign from impacting further damage.

Life is a journey, a mixture of happy days, sad days, bad days and sometimes feeling empty days which is totally normal. Yes! totally normal if you are a human not any other sort of specie.

But if you often feel empty then don’t worry that is normal to and there are ways which will help you to keep that emotion in check.

Yes, emotion everything which we feel is our emotion and feeling empty is one of them but how does it feel?

  • You don’t have a sense of goal in life
  • You are not happy from your life but you are not sad either
  • You lack confidence, feels like can’t do anything
  • You just don’t have a clue how you feel or how to react on a certain situation.

What causes this feeling of emptiness? In reality no one knows for sure, and maybe multiple reasons are behind it. The most common cause you might feel this way is self-distancing-feeling distance or I can say stranger from yourself. This feeling develops overtime, usually as a result of pushing away or in gulping too many emotions.

Emotions are very foundation of our lives and our quality of life, yet many of us at some point of time have emotions which we don’t want to experience. For example: ANGER is one of them.

What happens when we don’t acknowledge these emotions they become shadows of our mind and haunt us like ghosts which make us distant from other people.

Here are some ways for getting out from those ghostly emotions.

  • Stop ‘eyeing out’ for a sense of purpose.

Your life purpose arises from your uniqueness. It’s not something that someone will gift you or you will just find it hanging somewhere for you. You are the hero of your own story so you should have the strong will of finding who you actually are.

  • Ask yourself am I the person who is suffering this feeling of emptiness?

Start with this who is this person feeling empty. is it you? Or your dependable self who laughs when you are tickled, and cries when you are sad. It’s your that side who wants to fill your void, who wants to fill you with completeness. So think like that WHO IS IT?

  • Love yourself

Self-love is very important as it is the root cause of all the happiness in the world. Just look at yourself your past/present/future and ask yourself how your life would be if you were not feeling empty .why you feel this way what are you hiding from maybe YOURSELF your true self, so embrace the true you and learn to love yourself first.

  • Share it out

Share this feeling with someone. If there is no one you trust for that information take help from the SUPPORT GROUP that could be valuable or share it with your parents or any trustworthy elder. Be honest and kind to yourself, rather than looking to other people to fill you up.

  • Try therapy

A good therapist will show who you actually are with the help of a metaphorical mirror.

  • Root out shame

Shame encourages us to unvalue ourselves but there is nothing wrong with you. It’s hard to be close to someone who you hate. Everybody have that someone they hate in their life and that’s ok there is nothing to be ashamed of.

Life is beautiful live it the way you want. You deserve good people, good relationship with yourself just be yourself and love yourself.

Good news for every Nokia fan, The giant is back!!!!

After the downfall of Nokia in 2013, people all around the world lost hope of seeing Nokia back into the market again. But with the resurrection of Nokia by none other than Finnish company HMD Global which is founded by the ex – Nokia employees, brings the long-time dreams of Nokia fans into a reality. Behold, the early days of 2017 presents Nokia 6 a mid-range smartphone, which will face difficulties against that of wide varieties of Chinese phones already in the market. Presently this handset is available in china only, but in near future we can see Nokia hitting the shelfs of other major countries as well.

Coming back to Nokia 6, let’s see what Nokia 6 has to offer.

  1. Design

Nokia always know for its durability, whether it’s Nokia 3310 or Nokia E6, it always had

meet the expectations of people. Indeed HMD has to maintain this reputation of the company not only with the Nokia 6 but also with the future devices about to be unveil.

Talking about Nokia 6,  it towers at 6.06 inches with 2.98 inches across and thickness at 0.33 inches. Made from glass and aluminium, the device employs the de facto standard design presently. the screen is slightly curved towards the frame edge, creating ever-so-slight curve. the screen-to-body ratio of the device is 71.59%, which is normal. The fingerprint is embedded into the home button at front.

2. Display

As the device is a mid-range product it comes with full HD display equipped with Gorilla Glass 3, the 5.5 inch panel is sharp with a pixel density of 401 ppi not have a match up with the leading devices in terms of screen sharpness, but overall the image quality is superb. Instead of An AMOLED screen display, the device equipped with an IPS LCD screen.

3. Processor

One of the aspect which disappointed many fans is that of the processor. we expected is to be a Nokia smartphone with Android device to be a beast out on the rampage but it turns out to be more humble with the company preferred a tamed start.

In technical terms the device comes with a Snapdragon 430 64-bit octal core processor, built on a 28nm manufacturing process. Nokia 6 is a direct competitor to the Lenovo K6, Asus Zenfone 3 Laser and Xiaomi Red 3s which are sharing the same chipset.

4. Memory

The Nokia 6 is powered by 4GB of RAM, which is one of the major attraction for the upper mid-range devices. Also the device offers a 64GB of onboard storage which can be extend till 128GB via the SD Card. Thats pretty good No?

5. Battery

The device is backed up with 3,000 mAH battery, which makes a pretty good combination with the snapdragon 430.

6. Camera

Nokia 6 comes up with a 16MP shooter with phase detection auto-focus with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.0um sensors’s  pixel in size. The picture quality is pretty decent although we can see lack in performance under low light.

For selfie lovers a 8MP shooter is provided which also has f/2.0 aperture, although the sensor’s pixel are larger clocking in at 1.12um with a field view of 84 degrees which is pretty wide for allowing multiple people to fit inside the frame maybe we can get our hopes up for having a good and detailed selfie pictures in low light scenarios as well.

7. Price

Nokia 6 launched with a price tag of CNY 1,699 in China & it’s expected to available in India for Rs 17,000 (Approx).

     Future Expectations

With the Nokia’s resurrections from the hands of HMD Global, the company still playing “Safe”. But again with the Nokia 6, the company is sending a clear and a promising message, to maintains the same quality and essential features that users and consumers still love. Even after thrown out from the mobile market, this can be an exceptional first step made by company towards the right path to regain it’s grip in the market.

In this fast-changing world, everyone wants to be successful. They plan for long terms, invest a lot of time thinking about their future. We all have big dreams and we strive to achieve them. But even after giving our best, we couldn’t fulfil our dreams. People invested a lot of money and their age in order to build the infrastructure of their dream. But ultimately the work always stuck in progress and we drop our dreams and starts to fulfil other people’s dreams.

What happen?

We have dreams, big dreams. We plan for a lot of things. But when it’s the time to take the first step most of us get afraid of it. Because of many reasons risks involved, finance problems, no time to invest and etc.

Where we lack?

The answer you are thinking is

  • I’m not having the potential.
  • I am not deserving.
  • Luck is not on my side.
  • I am not ready.

Which is not true after all,

what you lack is motivation, the enthusiasm and the believe in yourself.

Motivation drives us to do extraordinary things and achieve the goals which seems impossible for us in starting. Now you are thinking If motivation is that helpful why we still not able achieve our dreams.

I’m stating the possible reasons:

  • Lack of faith in our abilities

We all work hard to bring our dream true but sometimes even after giving our 100%, we fail. This starts us to doubt ourself, our abilities which therefore leads to de-motivation.

  • Afraid of failures, due to the past failures

Often people face continuous series of failures in row. They become afraid to face anymore failures killing their motivation before they starts.

  • Loosing interest

Children always crave for so many things at a time. They want a particular toy and after that they want another. Same happen with adults as well at a time they are so crazy about an idea. It looks like it will be successful but in between they loose their interest as another idea gets the attention.

  • Dawdling habit

Not all of us are quick starters. Some people believe in spending more time before they starts to act. Often we see people take a lot of time but still are not sure if they wanna go for it or halt it, wasting an appropriate portion of the time. This kind of practise becomes habit for the people, even with a success plan. They often face failures due to their dawdling habit.

  • Diverted to other things

We humans live in fast moving life. Wants to achieve a lot of things but with limited time and try to achieve multiple things. In this process we forget to perform with perfection and often face failures, which leads to de-motivation.

  • Fear of what others might think

The biggest problem, in us is that we depend on other people’s judgement about us, about our work and to impress them we don’t pay attention to ourselves and often we neglects things we are best at and forgets that we all are unique, we must choose our paths and nobody can tell us what to do.

  • Nervous/Stressed

Sometimes people gets too nervous while doing anything, we get afraid of future consequences before they starts off with their ideas even with a successful planning and abilities, they tend to make mistakes while they are performing not because they are not able but because they are over stressed and nervous of getting anything wrong, they loose their believe in their abilities and face failures.

These problems are common with all of us, in fact we all face them at each turn of our life, which brings me to the most important question of all

What we do if we loose our way?

To regain motivation in yourself, you can practise the following:

  • Identify the obstacle

Before making any conclusions one needs to identify their reasons of failure, what happen, why things didn’t work out for them. The main focus here is that you are facing issues because you’ve handled problems before, don’t overlook them but use them as the means to boost your confidence and deal with the present issues.

  • Take time to explore yourself

While people face fear, they forget about themselves, their accomplishments, their abilities and the only thing they remember is the failure. People need to explore themselves, why they fail and how they feels about it. Give yourself sometime, do things you love such as enjoying your hobbies, your passions. Get back on your feet and try again.

  • Think positive

Often people are wandering with negative thoughts, after becoming face to face with failures. People need to understand failure is not the end of the world but it’s an another chance to try and get what you craves for. people need to channel positive vibes into themselves and rewire themselves for positivity and happiness.

  • Re – focus

After seeing yourself failed in your quest don’t get upset from it but use this as an opportunity and try to build yourself up from scratch and focus on those goals which you set for yourself in the first place, improvise your strategies and go for it.

  • Be patient

People try to get something very badly and even with multiple tries still they didn’t succeeds. People often forgets somethings come with time and how much you try these things won’t come before their time. Try to keep your patience and try your hard each time more than the last and ultimately you will be the winner, remember slow n steady wins the race.

  • Converse with friends and family

The hardest thing is for everybody is to take help at the time of need, but we are hard wired to do everything on our own but thats not true everybody requires a helping hand in rough times, ask for help from your friends and family. they have a good view at your problems as they are not involved into it and they can give you some out of the box suggestions too.

  • Others are there facing these issues

While all people have some issues in their life, people tend to think they are the only suffers from it but no with that big population, there are many others who are suffering from the same trauma as you are. Some of them had overcome these problems already, try to connect with them using online portals such as yahoo answers, quota, reddit and many more. I am sure their suggestions and advices will be very much helpful to you.

  • Meditate

Meditation is the best method to cool your mind and helps to re-establish your focus back to your goals. This not only cools your mind. But also increase your will power and opens you mind to new experiences which will help you grow more.

  • Always Keep believing in yourself and say these words Yes I Can Do It

never let negative thoughts come into your mind as it will de moralise you from within. Always trust yourself because you know more than you think.Always chant this “Yes I Can Do”, this will help you maintaining your self-confidence in you as well as keeping you on the right track.

Nothing starts working in a snap, same goes with these techniques as well. you need to keep practising these techniques on daily purposes not all of them but at least two of them.

With patience and practise you soon will overcome any obstacle in your life and never forget

“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward.

When life is dragging you back with difficulties, just imagine that it’s going to launch you into something great”
